Properties and uses: Terpineol is widely used as a basic component in lilac, lime and pine perfumes and flavors. It can also be used as raw material for the synthesis of alpha-terpinylacetate, alpha-dihydroterpineol and other aroma chemicals. It is extensivelyused in medicine, pesticide, plastic, soap, printing ink, dyeing, instrument, telecommunication industries.
